[game_preservation] On Disk Monthy (Big Blue Disk) issue with the game Bubba Goes West

Hello,

I'm a Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image student at the
University of Amsterdam and I've chosen to write my master's thesis on video
game preservation. I am dedicating a section of my thesis on the loss of
video games and comparing it to the loss of early cinema. As an small case
study, I'm trying to locate a game from my childhood. I wanted to pick
something that wasn't a console game. Instead I wanted to focus on disk
magazines since it's relatively forgotten or unknown to my generation. I
know I'm not picking an easy target because it is something that took me 10
years of personal research in my free time to even remember the title. There
are only about 5 hits on Google that even match the name of the specific
game. Nevertheless, I figured it'd be a good example for my thesis.

It is for this reason, I'm asking the community for your help. I am
wondering if anybody knows of any archive that has any information about
which On Disk Monthly (aka The big blue disk) issue the game "Bubba Goes
West" was featured on. Even better, if any knows if an archive has this in
their collection. Any information would be great.

Sincerely,

Henry Borchers

PS. I really wanted to go to GDC for the talk on bit rot but holy moly,
that's way out of my budget as a student.
