[game_preservation] Fwd: End of the arcade CRT monitor

Next weekend in silicon valley is the annual California Extreme
exposition, in Santa Clara CA (July 28-29). Similar to the one Martin
mentioned, it re-creates the vintage arcade feel with roughly 400
playable video, pinball, and electro-mechanical machines. Guest
speakers come to talk about the games' history, technology, or design.
And the owners of the machines are usually around to discuss their
hardware with interested guests.
