[game_preservation] Personal stories?

Have there been any projects conducted to collect stories about the
personal and cultural impact games have had on people?

I've been considering interviewing people and compiling the interviews into
a book so that those life changing events are not forgotten. And if similar
projects have already been conducted, I would like to contribute.
