Hi all,

Tonight's the big show with Marty Ballou!  Chris and I are mighty  
excited.  It'll be our last electric show until April (unless we  
manage to schedule something new).  Actually, I currently only have  
two shows scheduled for all of March, both solo shows -- but don't  
worry, I've got a bunch of things planned for April, May, and beyond.

It's been a while since I've had so few shows in a month, so I'm  
hoping to use it to do some songwriting and also to try to book some  
more shows outside of Rhode Island -- I think I'll concentrate on D.C.  
next, but maybe another show in Manhattan, or someplace in upstate New  
York ... of course, I also hope to spend some time relaxing, spending

Providence) with me, Chris Monti, Matt McLaren, and special guest

Friday February 26 -- ACOUSTIC KILLDEVILS SHOW

Monday March 1 -- OPEN MIKE HOST

WHEN: 9:30 pm

This free open mike is normally run by John Windle, but he's taking a  
couple of weeks off and has asked me to host this week.  I'll do a  
couple of songs to start off the night, then the open mike will start;  
the featured act, Chris Monti and Joseph Paye (they'll perform afro- 
pop and other music) will go on around 10:15 pm or so.

Signup starts around 8:30 pm and the open mike will start at 9:30 pm.

The food at the restaurant is quite tasty, so you may want to arrive a  
little early for dinner.  The menu's at <http://www.everymanri.com/complmenu.pdf

This will be a 'pass the hat' show, with the proceeds going to the  
featured act.
