Hey all,

Man, what a busy week it's been -- and February is looking pretty  
crowded too!  I hope you all have lots of fun stuff planned as well.

This week instead of putting up one free mp3 on <http://music.jwgh.org/freemp3.html 
 > I've put up nine, which together make up all of the songs (plus one  
lengthy song introduction) I sang at last week's AS220 show.  I hope  
you enjoy them!

I should also note that I've decided to start a music blog which you  
can see at <http://community.livejournal.com/jwgh_music/>.  I plan to  
eventually integrate it into my website proper but haven't figured out  
how to do that yet.

Finally, I wanted to tell you that next month, on Saturday February  
20, I have my first show ever in New York City.  I'm a little anxious  
about whether anyone will show up, so if you have any friends in the  
area who think might enjoy my music, please let them know about it!  I  
put together some information about it at <http://community.livejournal.com/jwgh_music/1100.html

With all of that out of the way (and thanks for your indulgence)  
here's the shows I've currently got planned for the next couple of  
weeks.


Saturday January 30 -- KILLDEVILS SHOW WITH SPECIAL GUESTS

WHERE: Nick-a-Nees, 75 South Street, Providence, RI
WHEN: 9:30 pm to 12:30 am

A free show at the best bar in town.  Our usual bass player Jeff is  
taking a break for a month or so, and our usual drummer Matt has a  
previous engagement, so for this night only we'll be joined by Bob  
Asprinio and Ed Hardy.  It's always fun to play with a diverse group  
of musicians, and this should be a fun show!


Sunday February 7 -- THE EMPIRE REVUE

WHEN: 8 pm to 10 pm
COVER: $8

The Empire Revue is a cabaret/variety show which is held on the first  
Sunday of every month.  It's always a good time, and I hope you can  
make it!  I am working on a song never before performed in public, and  
if I can figure out how to play it this is where I might give it its  
debut.


Wednesday February 10 -- SOLO SHOW

COVER: $10

I'll be performing as part of the Midweek Madness variety show, hosted  
this week by Rory Raven.  It'll be my first time performing in a  
comedy club, and also my first time performing in a casino.  We'll see  
how it goes!


I think that wraps things up for now.  We've got a bit of a windy  
torrential downpour going in Providence right now, so if you have to  
go out in it, stay safe and I hope to see you around!
