Hi all,

It's December already?  I think I need a Daylight Saving Month, so after November 30 it goes back to November 1.  Though I guess then we'd then have to pick a month to skip at the beginning of the year -- maybe March?  I never liked March much.

(I apologize to anyone whose birthday is in March.)

Anyway, schedule-wise there isn't much to add to my last message, but I wanted to send out an update for three reasons:

(2) Just wanted to remind everyone that you can listen to me and the Running Commentary perform live on Brown Studio Radio tonight at 9 pm Eastern time through the magic of INTERNET.  You should be able to listen in using this link: <http://bsrlive.com/rams/src1.m3u>

(3) Chris Monti's birthday is tomorrow and he's put together a fantastic show at Nick-a-Nees! It starts at 8 pm with the Sheldon Street Choir, a gospel choir from my friend and guitarist Natalie's church. I've only heard recordings but they sound really great!

After them, Chris will be joined by Greg Burgess to play an acoustic set, then the Throttles will play, and finally there will be a big jam which I'll be participating in.  If you can make it down, it should be a good time.


After that, the Empire Revue is on Sunday; I'm looking forward to playing a song with Pam, plus the Christmas Empire Revue is always great.  Then after that is my CD release parties … and then maybe I can start thinking about Christmas!  Here's the schedule:


Thursday December 1 - J. HALLER & THE RUNNING COMMENTARY on WBSR

The Empire Revue's Christmas show is always a highlight of the year, so if you can make it to this show, I recommend it!  If all goes according to plan, I'll be doing a song from my CD, 'Dear Santa', accompanied by Pam Murray on trombone.
