[JakeShows] In North Kingstown on Saturday, a trip to Nashville, the DDDB takes Worcester, and other October shows

Good day,

After taking it easy in September so I could work on my CD (I'm in the middle of mixing it right now), October has a nice complement of shows.

Among other things that I'm doing in October, I'll be heading to Nashville for a few days to visit some friends and I'm planning to hit an open mike or two while I'm there. If you have any recommendations for places to play while I'm there, please let me know!

In other news, there is going to be a benefit in Falmouth, MA on October 22 to benefit my friend Sarah's sister Jen, who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer shortly after giving birth to twins.  If you can contribute some money, or something to auction or raffle off, then please get in touch with them, and if you know anyone in the Falmouth area please encourage them to go to the benefit. Come enjoy some good food, free peanuts, and Chris Monti and me playing blues, americana, and original songs.


Thursday October 13 -- DOUBLE DECKER DANCE BAND

Members of the AS220 Criss Cross Orchestra will open for us.  Dance party!


Friday October 14 -- DOUBLE DECKER DANCE BAND in WORCESTER

WHERE: Gilrein's, 802 Main Street, Worcester, MA

This is a fundraiser for Barbara Haller's District 4 city council election campaign, and there will be other music as well (TBA).  Our Worcester debut!  Come on down and dance, and if you are inclined to donate some money to my mother's campaign please do!

I will be the featured act at the open mike. Natalie Markward will accompany me and we'll be playing for tips. Joanne Lurgio runs this open mike and we appreciate her booking us!
