[JakeShows] Thursday in Worcester, touring in early July, plus shows this weekend and beyond

Hi all,

Sometime in the next week I hopefully will be buying a new car.  If not, I'll be going to these shows in my rental car, a Nissan cube, which seems to be a deeply divisive car, with some of my friends deeply disliking the way it looks and some thinking I should go ahead and get one for myself.  (I kind of like it, but not enough to buy one.)

Either way, it's a busy couple of weeks coming up, with the Worcester debut of my new band, Jacob Haller and the Silent treatment; a solo set in an improv show (note: my songs will not be improvised); and a short East coast tour.

Regarding the tour, I'll be in Brooklyn on Friday July 6, Montclair NJ on Saturday July 7, and Takoma Park MD on Sunday July 8.  If you know anyone in any of those areas who you think might enjoy these shows, please let them know about them -- complete details are below.

Thursday June 28 - J. HALLER & the SILENT TREATMENT

My Worcester debut with the new band, and our second show together ever!

We'll be opening for the Smile Makers.  Dusty Cobb will also play a set.  We'll all be playing for tips.

This is also part of the Strangers Helping Strangers food drive, so please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to that cause.


Friday June 29 - SOLO SHOW

I'll be providing music for the Providence Improv Guild's second show.  Also on the bill are Smart Roger and Muffins.  I hear good things about P.I.G.; this'll be a new and interesting experience with me!
