Hi all,

I hope that you all had a nice new year's eve, and that 2013 is off to a good start for you.  Last night I had a little cup of champagne, as is traditional, and as is also traditional I found that I still think alcohol tastes pretty terrible.

So, that's out of the way.  Onward and upward!

I've got a bunch of shows planned for this month -- kind of a final hurrah before I head to Georgia for the month of February for a family getaway -- so I'll just list the first few below.  If you want to see the full rundown, as always it's online at <http://music.jwgh.org/gigs.html>.

I'll be the MC at the 14th annual Gathering of Fiddlers and Fishermen put on by Common Fence Music!  I'll play some songs solo and some with a band. You can bring your own food and drink, or you can get some homemade chowder and chili at the kitchen there.
