Hi all,

I have a favor to ask you.

I've applied to play in the Montauk Music Festival in Montauk, New York. I think it would be a lot of fun to play there. If you agree, and have a facebook account, you can post on their wall here to suggest me: https://www.facebook.com/themontaukmusicfestival

I think it's helpful for people to see what they will be getting, so if you like, you could include a link to one of these videos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdoQ7ug1MM0 - 'The Ballad of Anne Hutchinson'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpvONAdJS3U - 'I'm a Guy'

or to one of the videos on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/jwgh

If anything comes of it, I'll let you know.

In the more immediate future, I've got some exciting shows coming up. Notably, I'm honored to be MCing the 14th annual Gather of Fiddlers and Fishermen, where I'll be introducing all the performers and will be doing a few songs with Joe Auger, including a sea chantey...

I'll also be playing at the Songwriters in the Round anniversary show, plus a couple of shows at the Locals, before taking off to Georgia for the month of February. Hope you can make it to a show! The details are:

Saturday January 19 -- FIDDLERS & FISHERMEN -- w/JOE AUGER
-------------------
WHERE: Common Fence Point Community Hall, 933 Anthony Road, Portsmouth, RI
WHEN: 6:30 pm - late
COVER: $15

I'll be the MC at the 14th annual Gathering of Fiddlers and Fishermen put on by Common Fence Music! I'll perform some songs with Joe Auger at the beginning of the two halves of the show. You can bring your own food and drink, or you can get some homemade chowder and chili at the kitchen there. It sounds like there will be a full lineup that night, and in addition to me I know that Allysen Callery and Kim Lamothe will both perform, so it should be a fun night!

This show tends to sell out early, so I recommend ordering your tickets in advance: http://www.ticketweb.com/t3/sale/SaleEventDetail?dispatch=loadSelectionData&eventId=4831385 (though if the weather isn't bad you can also just go to the venue to see if people don't show up or leave early; that's how I got in the first time I went to F&F).

Directions are at http://www.commonfencemusic.org/directions.html .

Sunday January 20 -- MORNING SHOW -- SOLO

Come on down, have a delicious brunch, and listen to me sing about dinosaurs and whatnot.

Saturday January 26 -- SOLO SHOW
