Hi all,

It’s currently ninety degrees Fahrenheit in Providence, which my air conditioner has cooled down to a frosty 80 degrees F. Phew!

The heat brings with it a helping portion of shows in Providence, Pawtucket, and Warren. I hope you can make it to at least one of these shows! A few of them are outdoors, and they all should be fun. The details are:

Thursday September 10 - SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND
---------------------
WHEN: 7-8:30 pm
WHERE: AS220, 115 Empire Street, Providence, RI
COVER: $5

I'll be hosting Songwriters in the Round. Rick Gottlieb, Steve Carlone & Tom Burgess will also perform. We'll each perform three songs, one of which has to be on the theme 'wind through the ruins'.

Sunday September 13 - FARMERS MARKET
-------------------
WHEN: noon-3 pm
WHERE: Slater Park, Pawtucket, RI

I'll be playing for tips at this nifty outdoors farmers market.

Saturday September 19 - BLOCK PARTY
---------------------
WHEN: The event runs 11 am-3 pm; I'll be playing 11:30-11:50 am.
WHERE: 1st Baptist Church of Pawtucket, 45 Lyon Street, Pawtucket, RI

Denise Moffat invited me to start off the musical portion of the block party with an 11:30 set at the First Baptist Church of Pawtucket Block Party. You can find out more about the church on their website at http://fbcpawtucket.org/ .

Saturday September 26 - FOUR CORNERS ANNIVERSARY SHOW
---------------------
WHEN: 8-11 PM
WHERE: The Mediator Stage, 50 Rounds Street, Providence, RI

It's the Mediator Stage anniversary show! Seven songwriters will play four songs each, including one on the new theme 'Broken Mirrors', and another on a theme chosen five years ago, 'The Ascot, Pipe and Smoking Jacket Song.'

Sunday September 27 - FUSION FEST
-------------------
WHEN: noon
WHERE: Blount Clam Shack, 335 Water Street, Warren, RI

This is a fundraiser for the Fusionworks Dance Company, and is another outdoors show! I will be opening a day of waterfront festivities with a short set from noon to 12:30. I'll be joined by a couple of special guests on some of my songs, so come check it out!

Whew! After that, I will probably spend most of October sleeping.

Enjoy the rest of summer, and I hope I'll see you all around!

So long,
Jacob Haller
