[JakeShows] An actual in-person outdoors show with Chris Monti, and updated streaming info for this month

Hi all,

I hope you are having a nice spring! The temperature in Providence has been a bit up and down, but we’ve had some really nice days, and it’s been nice getting more chances to go for walks and see trees getting ready to bloom.

In keeping with that, Chris Monti and I will be reuniting to do an all-acoustic set at the South Side Community Land Trust Plant Sale the morning of Sunday May 15. The information is:

WHERE: 172 W Clifford St, Providence, RI
Every year the Southside Community Land Trust has a fundraiser at the City Farm where they sell thousands of plant seedlings grown right in Providence. This year, the fundraiser is 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15. They always have a bunch of musicians come and play, and this year Chris and I have been asked to play the 10-11 am slot on Saturday, under a giant tree behind the chicken coop!

Tue May 3, 6:30-7:30 pm: Drawing livestream. 

This week, I’ll be doing life drawings (from a YouTube video) for half an hour, then I’m going to draw a capybara.

I’ll play guitar, singing original songs and covers. I will probably practice some songs for the plant sale! Note that I usually don’t stream music on Tuesdays — this week’s schedule is a little wonky.

Wed May 4, 9:30-11 pm: Playing Dark Souls

I’ve become slightly obsessed with this video game over the past couple of months and am working my way through it. Currently I’m in the Tomb of the Giants and am fighting some rather ridiculous skeletons.
