In and About the City
------
A new tower is being built at Bluestone. It is being erected on the site of the old station, and will be much larger and conveniently arranged than the old one.

In and About the City
------
An Italian, with an unintelligible name, was arrested by officer Green last night just as he was emerging from the pilot of the engine of No. 16, in which he had ridden from Williamson -- inside the pilot, mind you. He was changing cars -- or rather pilots -- when the officer nabbed him, as he expected to continue his journey east. [Note, this ride on the front part of the engine was in January in West Virginia!]
------
Engineer Hensley Mowles, who was painfully hurt by being knocked from his engine at Vivian Tuesday, is resting well at his home on Allen street. He was eating his luncheon on the tender of his engine when the dropping of some cars jarred him from his seat and he fell to the tracks. One of his ears was nearly cut off and his hands were painfully hurt.
