Long Trains East

Terry -

Pushers are no longer utilized over Blue Ridge Grade. The lengthy trains do sound good though as they struggle up the mountain.

Keep in mind that some of those trains that appear to be going east towards Norfolk could also be either going north on the Roanoke District or south on the Winston-Salem District.

I see on the Roanoke Rail Cam some long east bound freights with only 2 engines pulling - are there ever pushers added to get over the Blue Ridge grade ? And if yes, where are the pushers added ?

Thank you.
