The Morse Telegraph Club officially celebrates Morse Day on the last Saturday of April from mid-morning to mid-afternoon as Morse was born on the 27th and that Saturday is always the nearest Saturday to that date.

Current plans have me at the former N&W Railway Boyce depot, home of the Railway Mail Service Library (RMSL), for this coming Morse Day, Saturday April 28th.  The agent's office will be open between 10 AM and 4 PM.   Boyce station is DK office and will be up on MorseKOB Wire 11 (and maybe monitoring other wires as well).  Hopefully members not attending a Morse Day event at Boyce or elsewhere will at least join us on MorseKOB Wire 11 or the US hub (which is connected via a repeater to MorseKOB Wire 11).  It would be nice to get the Canadian hub up on Wire 11 as well at least for that day.

73,

The RMSL will host a complimentary cook out (donations accepted) between noon and 1 PM.  Burgers, hot dogs, and sodas will be provided.  Visitors are welcome to bring side-dishes, desserts, or beverages to share.  Anyone who wants to display railroadiana for show or sale is welcome to tail-gate.  ATCS monitoring at the station will provide early-warnings  for photo opportunities.

Hope to see you there,
