Hi Bill
Thanks for chipping in on this one, yes I am well aware of the Gold Coast
offerings and have a lot of them myself. However I thought Bob was referring
to ready to run manufactured N&W cars of which there are none. I tried the
manufactures of the NWHS decals and microscale of the possibility of
re-sizing some decal sheets to TT scale however the price was far too high.
That said specialist decals are getting produced for TT but unfortunately in
our happy band there are not so many N&W/VIRGINIAN fans. To be honest though
right now decals are the last thing on my mind as I am drawing a track plan
of the Island Yard which I want to reduce in size and start building in hand
laid track. This is a big big task, I can get TT track no problem but of
course it is German and not American pattern and sleeper spacing for track
and switches is not correct and best is code 70.
So at least everything I am using is American produced items Code 55 Track
from micro engineering and timber ties and other extras from Clover house.
Unashamed advert for Clover House is the fact that Tom Dempsey is TT
sympathetic is is an extremely nice and helpful chap. Anyway apologies chaps
for wandering of the topic a bit but you guys are so helpful over there that
I get carried away with myself.

Thanks and regards to all
Richard.

Howdy Bob & Richard

Actually, a very nice plastic TT boxcar kit was introduced several years
ago by Gold Coast Models in Or. The line has now been sold to a German
company, but the undec kit is still available. Go to
http://www.lok-n-roll.de and scroll down.

Decals might be cobbled together from some of the older Walthers sets
which were often in the wrong size.

Take care
Bill
