Anyone that has not read Ed King's article in Vintage Rails about Walton
junction and how trains were started, it is a must read.

Vintage Rails #7 1997- "N&W's Loneliest Junction"

I believe it was on this list about 15 years ago that I asked for Walton
info and Ed directed me towards his article. It really gives a true glimpse
of how getting a heavy train over Christiansburg happened.
