The Norfolk Naval Shipyard was served by both the Seaboard Air Line and the
Norfolk Portsmouth Belt Line until sometime in the 70's.  Most of the heavy
stuff came in over the SAL.  The SAL connection was on the north end of the
shipyard and the NPBL connection was at the south end.

The Belt Line serves the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA.? The
shipyard has it's own railroad operation on base.
