Harry -

Thanks! I came to the Barney Yard in early 1984. I remember some GP- 7s
& 9s, and SW 1500's' I don't think we had any SD 9s left at Norfolk
Terminal. I was hoping to make the annual meeting, but we've just got ttoooo
much going on.

Bill Browder.

The Asylum Lead was on the Pittsburgh Division near Navarre, OH.
Originally
the branch had served a hospital in Massillon, but had been cut back to an
 industrial
park with a cement plant and an 84 Lumber Company. To serve those
industries, it was a "run by and back up the hill" arrangement and the
trainman
riding the head car had to bail off and run like heck to flag a
non-signaled county
road. Harry Bundy
