I'm glad someone recorded that. Who knows how much longer it'll still sound
off. I've heard it a couple times on the Roanoke Rail Cam video. 

I'll have to figure out how to get it to sound off on my computer at noon.

Might not hear this much longer, so I recorded it on May 21, 2020

Rick Rader said it is controlled by a gearmotor rotary valve. 

That explains why the sound winds up at the start and winds down at the end.
