I grew up reading the "N&W Magazine". My grandfather was a carman and derrick car operator at Shaffer's Crossing. My family stories are scattered out from the forties forward and we really enjoyed reading about ourselves. However "The Arrow" is NOT published by N&W, Southern or Norfolk Southern. It is unique and I believe the best example of railroad history of N&W or VGN now available. Perhaps we do need an outlet similar to "Folks along the Line" to allow more personal items of a rail family nature. Alex it was a mongoose not weasel.
