Gentlemen,
    I would say that the most likely reason the heavyweights rode better 
was if the trucks they were riding on had leaf springs instead of coil 
springs.  This is what happened when the C31 cabs with coil spring 
trucks were upgraded to C31P with leaf spring trucks. The C31P cabs were 
the best riding cabs!
