Booster Equipped Engines on the N&W

 On the tender boosters, there appears to be an exhaust just behind the coal bunker. In one picture, there is a little steam rising.

An added question that I have come up with is there seem to be two types of boosters, a Bethlehem and a Frankin, and I am not sure if the websites are confused, or if there were two in use.

This made me realize that I do not know how N&W engines exhausted spent steam from the Booster.

Anyone know the answer...?
