Option One: Carefully bend a normal rail into a circle of the correct 
diameter and glue/spike into place on short wooden ties or concrete 
(plaster) foundation.
Option Two: Find a metal can (coffee cans work for smaller tables) and 
cut the rim off for use as a pit rail.  Glue/spike down as above.
