Roger Giffin Green Stratocaster style guitar. There is no serial #. This is
one of three made in the 1980's for Eric in Green, Blue, and Burgundy Mist.
Lee Dickson commissioned these three guitars for Eric as at the time he
wanted to paint Blackie, Brownie, and a 1954-55 Stratocaster in these
colors. Lee refused and suggested that they should get some guitars made in
these colors just to see if they appealed to him and to avoid the damage to
his originals. Roger Giffin was the man to do it! Roger used Blackie as a
template to make this guitar! This guitar was a backup guitar that Eric used
on numerous occasions during the 1980's. Tim Renwick also played it on stage
after it came into Lee's possession. Eric gave this guitar to Lee because
Lee absolutely loved it. This guitar comes with the hard case, a letter from
Roger Giffin and a letter from Lee Dickson. Lee will provide a photo of
himself with the guitar at the time of sale. Please call for details.
