To all of our clients at St. Bernard Veterinary Hospital,

We are praying everyday that everyone, including your pets made it through
these two disasters alive and well. 

While only one thing is certain about St. Bernard, it is that we all have it
in our hearts. We are going to try and make EVERY EFFORT to COME BACK TO OUR
PARISH. 

Very soon, I will be living in Braithwaite and trying to start something in
St. Bernard to care for your pets should you return. 

For years, my clients have wanted me to "come back to work", well, be
careful what you wish for...This disaster will more than likely force me
right out of my semi-retirement. 

Yesterday, (Monday) there was a meeting of the Ecomonic Development
Commission for the Parish. MANY business owners, like me, would love to
return to St. Bernard. What a terrific "catch 22" that is? We need the
people to return for us to have a business and you need the businesses to
return for you to have jobs, groceries, gasoline and so forth. 

My letter to you right now is to ask you to remember what you loved about
our parish. Go back with your memories and leave the imagines behind. 


>From now on, like the others before us, we need to look forward. I know as

well as you that it will be a LONG time coming, but please do not give up!
