Murphy has started making offers to settle. The monetary value appears to
be generous but do not be too quick to jump into a settlement. There are
some questions that have to be answered before you release Murphy.

You should have your own samples run on your property prior to releasing
them.

You should have your home examined by an engineer to insure that the oil did
not compromise the structural integrity of your home.

Prior to gutting your house so Murphy can clean it make sure it is safe.

Murphy also states that your property will be free from crude oil. You need
to insure it is free from oil and any and any other contaminents that are
related to the oil.

Prior to signing any documents you should contact an attorney. I will
review any settlement offers for free and also try to line up engineers and
an environmental company to assist in the claims process.

Thanks
