Here's what I've been told by an NFIP FLOOD INSURANCE ADJUSTER to qualify:

You will need the following to apply for the ICC portion of NFIP for
additional benefit "UP TO" the amount of $30,000:

1. A "BFE (Base Flood Elevation) Certificate
2. A Building Inspector info
3. An Estimate for Mitigation.

Some would be available through the parish's evaluation of the properties
that they are undertaking presently. For additional info, please ask the
parish and/or building permit/Michael D. Hunnicutt department for more info.
