Please note that the reporter from MSNBC is not very comprehensive in his
reporting-  All residents should be careful about information that is
published not as an "OFFICIAL STATEMENT" of local government.  I say this
because many of the federal and state agencies are working on the same issue
but have very little coordination or communication so one agency says one
thing and another says something else leading to widespread confusion.
 
We will post all conclusive statements and the epa.gov website can give
specific information.  Also, EPA should be starting a specific website for
Murphy Oil spill issues in the next day or so.  In the meantime another site
can be accessed at www.epaosc.net/regionmap.asp
