[StBernard] Ideas for the new St. Bernard

Sorry, Dawn. A Chuck E. Cheese was in the parish, and St. Bernard Parish did
not support it (as to other steak houses, etc..) and they folded as well. As
long as people actually believe that the parish has such good cooks and
entertainment (to which I'm still trying to envision), you will not find the
support for such nice establishments. Too many found that the Metairie area
had multiple instances of just about anything. People drove there to get to
them. If things don't change for the better,it will repeat history and
return to "mom-and-pop" establishments of unfavorable pricing and
unavailability. If I'm wrong, then so be it. It's hard envisioning things
with little hope for change if our community sill either not support to the
betterment, or cannot attract an idea for a parish that is stuck on the
"tail end" of economic and development abyss. Believe me--if it could have
been done pre-Katrina, the EDC/Chamber would have surely have brought it
about.
