Maine lives and dies by modular homes...the companies up here are trying to
figure out how to either ship them down south or set up a facility there.
The prices range from 65,000 to over 120,000. www.oxfordhomesinc.com is a
good website for those interested in getting anidea. They are
nice...really!. Just some points...these homes have to withstand 60-90 mph
winds during the winter and withstand temperatures to -40 degrees without
fault. Can the withstand a hurricane, I don't know, but they get those types
of winds up here along with the blistering cold. Hope this helps.
