There are Roman Catholic Volunteers helping to clean out the homes of
Katrina Victims through the Program known as Operation Helping Hands,
organized and paid for by Catholic Charities.  
Please note:
 
1. the Volunteers will NOT be assigned to homes in the Murphy Oil Spill zone
because of the hazardous matter in the debris,for which they are not
equipped.
 
2. Priority is given to the elderly and people with special needs.
