Governor Blanco announces proclamations 

BATON ROUGE, LA- Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco issued the following
proclamations on Friday, December 9, 2005;

Governor Blanco issued Proclamation No. 70 KBB 2005 - which grants a special
election for the office of justice of the peace, 4th Justice Court,
Jefferson parish, due to the resignation of the Honorable Robert "Pop-Pit"
Santiny; 

Governor Blanco issued Proclamation No. 71 KBB 2005 - which grants a special
election for the office of justice of the peace, Justice of the Peace Ward
7, Acadia parish, due to the death of the Honorable Geneva L. Fontenot on
October 24, 2005; and 

Governor Blanco issued Proclamation No. 72 KBB 2005 - which grants a special
election for the office of justice of the peace, Justice of the Peace Ward
A, parish of St. Bernard, due to the resignation of the Honorable Karl
Scheuermann.
