[StBernard] Correct Mistakes?

It's been a while since the American Revolution, but perhaps we should
start by throwing the rascals out from the ground up. It's always a good
decision to clean house to be rid of corruption, incompetence and
self-servers. Just thought it went with cleaning the parish from the ground
up <g>...jer

It would be nice if we had a pencil with an eraser that could erase the
mistakes made by the Corps of Engineers and others, but it doesn't work that
way.We keep hearing on the news that the Corps is going to correct this
mistake and that mistake but it can't be done. The so- called mistakes have
been made and can't be corrected. They can prevent it from happening again
but it's too late to help us.
Far too many people seem eager to move back to the parish.(maybe they have a
lot more money than I do). And they're talking about strengthening the
levees and what businesses are coming back. This has to be done in
conjunction with the citizens returning. It should be more about the people
than levees or businesses or politicians.
On WDSU last night Richard Angelico said it's that first time in this
country's history that an entire county or parish (St. Bernard) has been
destroyed. Sounds serious, but what's really been done?

Thanks,
David Jochum
