Not that the rest of the nation doesn't care, but you know, if you weren't
directly effected, you go on with your business. Katrina is not on anyone's
minds anymore. I wonder if this is their plan, with all the mind games and
double-talk, the government is thinking we will just quietly go away. The
worst thing they are doing is giving us false hope. If they would just have
the hutzpah to say "You're on your own and not getting a dime", then we
would know where we stand, but the realilty is they are not going to take
care of us, we only have our own backbone to lean on. I just hope
osteoporosis doesn't kick in before this is over! All the best and seasons
