Dear Wendy,
 
We're also lost in "no taste in the food" land.  However, we're in Florida,
so they sell Zatarain's products; and believe it or not, it's still on the
shelves.  No "real" red beans, but we can "season" those kidney beans pretty
good; and when we do, the whole condo building smells.  I miss so much the
aroma of our fine cooking and can't wait to be back home again.
