Please keep in mind that the January 31 deadline has been proposed, not
adopted and the decision will not penalize those individuals who have
legitimate issues that are holding them up.

This deadline worries me as well for another reason: I am still arguing with
my insurance regarding wind versus water damage and contents of my attic and
was just offered a repeat inspection, this time with me present, but the
adjuster is going home for Christmas (must be nice) and wont be back until
the new year. 
I am unsure if I should let her come again (as I was p.o.ed last time when I
took a day to go there and she never called, supposedly got there before me
and was already finished) or request a different one. 
Either way, demolishing the house would render the fight useless. So here we
wait again.
