Sorry about the  delay.  The neighborhood will by and large have a good deal
of rebuilding.  However, Florida Blvd. is an area that is being discussed
for various plans.  If you move for a building permit, I wouldn't anticipate
a hold up of your permit.  No matter what, your property will not be taken
from you.

I lived on Florida Ave. in the back of Lexington and need your help.  I have
already cleaned my lot off and have only the slab left.  I have settled up
with insurance and the next step for me is to find a place to live.  Is
there going to be a buyout or not?  If there is not going to be a buyout
will the parish issue me a building permit to start building a new home on
my lot
