Rigamer's projections show that many people who called New Orleans,
Plaquemines and St. Bernard Parishes home, will relocate to St. Tammany, St.
Charles and Jefferson.
The research showed that while Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard are
likely to shrink by quite a bit, much of that will be made up by increases
in the other surrounding parishes. Rigamer projects Jefferson Parish to
become the state's largest parish, with a population of about a half a
million, up about 10 percent. St. Charles and St. Tammany are expected to
grow about 25 percent, St. John about 28 percent and Tangipahoa about 14
percent.

There was also a video clip where this guy had graphics showing that
probably St. Bernard would lose 70 % of its population.

Parish Leaders: It is very hard to tell exactly what YOU ALL have in mind
for the parish, especially when the "official" website for the parish is
down. A population shrunk by 70% ? What businesses would want to come in
to serve/service a population of, maybe, 20,000 or so. What physicians
would open offices there to treat folks?

I don't know data this guy used to extrapolate these projections but he had
to have something.
