"Mr. Hodges, here are some answers to your questions as best as can be
explained: Questions about the zones:These seems to fit into three
categories: drainage, oil buffer zone, and (?)getting rid of Village Square.
Are they building levees around the canals? Why obtain land around them?
And only some of them--what about the 20 Aprent, Eikes, Guichard, Corinne,
and Dubouchel canals? There is not a design plabn at this point and the
future of other canals may be looked at as well as the plan comes together.
The whole rebuilding discussion is a fluid process. Any feedback that you
would like to offer will be considered. Craig"

****Yes, and Fluidity means grasping all northbound of Genie from Paris Rd.
to Murphy as what is truly needed. As long as TIME remains, this area will
be endangered by Murphy and future hurricanes, you can be guaranteed THIS.

Any failure to do this is failure of government to provide safety and ease
to those who live in those areas. If the government can remove trashed homes
from canal areas, they SURELY can remove homes out of harm's way. (btw, this
area is just the start, but does not limit other areas above Genie.

Jer.
