I actually called the number they had on the internet about free tree
removal.  They won't do the stumps and that's all I have left.  Don't know
why!

New phone and fax numbers given for St. Bernard Regional Medical Center;
forms can be picked up for tree and branch cutting at Parish Information
Center; former phone number in use again at parish schools administration
building. 


The St. Bernard Regional Medical Center, the triple-wide trailer office in
the southeast corner of the disaster assistance center at the Super Wal-Mart
parking lot in Chalmette, has a new telephone number, (504) 278-1574, and a
new fax number, (504) 278-4497.

The medical trailer, operated by the U.S. Public Health Service and local
physicians, is open 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. seven days a week, giving flu shots
and providing medical treatment.

St. Bernard Parish residents who need trees and branches cut and removed
from their property can fill out a form at the Parish Information Center, a
gray trailer office with a wooden deck, located immediately behind the
parish government building at 8201 West Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette. A
non-profit group is doing the work.

The former phone number at the St. Bernard Parish schools administration
building, (504) 301-2000, is back in use again, school officials said
Monday.
