I returned to Chalmette again this past week and in checking on my mothers
house on Benjamin Street in Arabi I found water pouring out her front door.
After identifying the broken pipe, I turned the water main off.  I also
noticed at least five other houses on Benjamin between Patricia and Sydney
streets where water was pouring in the street from broken pipes.  
 
I realize that we are trying to restore water parish-wide, but wouldn't it
be logical to have someone drive down the street a few hours later, identify
those with water leaks, and shut the water at the house off?  It seems that
this would be more beneficial that wasting water and trying to bill
customers because  of the Water Boars lack of quality control?
