The archdiocese has distributed 10,000,000 pounds of food per month since
katrina to the needy through catholic charities. The archdiocese has
distributed over 500,000,000 pounds of food so far.Catholic Charities has
set up an emergency assistance office at OLPS.
It has set up 9 such centers since the storm.
