No Sue,

You need to call FEMA and explain that your ALE from homeowner's was for
the first 14 days of loss of use, not continued. The $2000 that Fema
originally sent should have been used to get settled and assist in any other
expenses during evacuation. Appeal the decision. Get a copy of the
adjustor's report and send to FEMA as well...any other info you need, email
me.

I am in MS. and have been having trouble getting a fema trailer. I have been
thrown out of the system and was checking on the why's. At first I was told
because fema is going over all their records and since Fema has not been out
to my house I do not qualify . Fema will not go to my property because I
have insurance they are waiting to see what the insurance pays. When they
asked if I had been paid any insurance money I was honest and said my home
owners paid me a nice sum on lost of use, but they said I only had 254.00
damage on my house that was not flood related. Now here is the kicker since
I received lost of use I would have to pay fema rent on the trailer until I
used all of the allotment given me by my insurance company. She said I would
be getting paid twice and fema does not do this. So am I once again punished
for being responsible and having insurance, Sue
