I for one agree with you 100%...this is just the kind of thing that gives
local government bad press...ie. spending money on things that it isn't
appropriated for to begin with...why not begin with smaller
improvements...getting people back into their own homes...helping with that
cleanup...most importantly...getting the MRGO...closed...and levees that
will help citizens be safe...all the pie in the sky...golf courses...bike
paths...lakes etc....should come much later...let's take one step at a
time....
