[StBernard] Murphy Oil Testing

The house is at 2405 Blanchard Dr. (behind Rite Aid)

I just don't understand what is going on. We settled with Murphy back in
November because we needed to put money down on a new house, but I have not
received the results from testing of my property. And they know the results?

We are suppose to be going to closing on the house Friday, but I am not even
sure if any of the agreement, cleaning the house and removing the soil until
it is crude free, will be transferable to the new owner.

Why can't the courts make Murphy buy all the land that was in the spill?

How do WE/I get the results from the EPA testing on my property?
I was contacted by Murphy this past Monday telling me "they will
need to gut
my house because it is not safe for anyone else to go into the h
ouse to do
this. They told me the EPA says the levels are too high. They will
need to
remove everything from the house and dispose of the contents".
If this is so, then why don't Murphy buy the land that the oil
IS/was on?
Will this area EVER be safe for anyone to live on? AND, who would
want to
live on this land?
