"And that has been the problem from the begining, no answers, no help,
hardly no leadership except for the one counselman you mention. I know
others are trying hard but it is not enough. We don't get enough
information and it isn't delivered in a clear and dependable way. It's ever
changing and evolving. Someone needs to be in charge and decide what to do.
Sadly, I don't think this will happen and I'm afraid it will be the end of
our parish.--Laurie"

***Perhaps, you've hit it right on the head, Laurie. To many, it's "chickens
with their heads cut off". Good leaders take the "bull by the horns",
accepts responsibilities and are accountable for their actions. I'm still
trying to find those in charge. It's as though martial law is in effect.
Zombies walking the halls and area. Decisive action is needed at many areas,
and there are the multitudes that realize, unless promptness comes soon, it
may well become a premonition on your part...

Why feel this way? Every morning, we awaken to a nightmare beyond
proportions. We've heard of bureaucracy, and it's running the gamut. Has
anyone seen the Miss. Gulf Coast lately? The coast was all but demolished,
but the governor accepted the challenge and cleaned it up. Where there was
rubble or destruction, are now emptied clean lots with equipment going round
the clock getting things done, and other areas as well. One thing seems to
play it out: the longer the wait, the more good folks would have made solid
decisions to go forward elsewhere with their kids in college, jobs, and
housing. Proactiveness is positively paramount to inactivity and growing
indecisions. We hold everyone responsible - "accountable" for a laxidasical
performance. We've no trailers, no cleansing, no hope without eliminating
the stagnation/condition of our environmental woes.

Jer.
