We are in what one might consider a nightmare.  There is an incredible
amount of disconnection between the people who are making decisions with
FEMA and elsewhere.
 
Trying to apply simply logic to this process only seems to make it worse.
 
Last check, my bp was 168/108.

    I'm watching the repeat of Bill Maher's Friday night show.  He had on
Harry Anderson who was at his club in NOLA.  Bill asked Harry (paraphrased
here), "Why is it, 6 months after Katrina, that when we see pictures of New
Orleans, we see all that cr*p ?  Can't they pick up the refrigerators on the
sidewalks and all the stuff?"
     
    That kind of bureaucratic....nonsense-to put it cleanly- needs to be
exposed and made public.
     
    Since I work for the Feds I can tell you, they never like it when their
stupidity is publicly exposed.  
     
    I do have a question...what the hell are they approving in the debris?
Or rather, what are they DISapproving?  Is someone checking each truck to
see what's in there?  Guess what?  Junk!! 
     
    How have you all (council/prez) NOT had a stroke or elevated b.p. in
dealing with this.  It would drive me mad!
