There still seems to be some confusion about a demolition deadline.  The
March 31 date is a deadline that we in parish government will use to begin
separating which properties have signed up for demolition, gutting, or
applied for permits for repair.
 
There has never been a deadline to sign up for gutting or demolition set to
this point.  When we have a clear deadline to sign up for those services, we
will post it for everyone to know.  The March 31 deadline is a prompting for
people who can sign up for the services to do so and allow the parish
government better opportunities to plan for the work to be done.
