Stink - Stink - Stink

That's all I can say about the stink in my neighborhood south of Judge Perez
Dr. This is the first complaint I am posting since my wife and I returned
home in December to live in our Fema trailer. Back in October we commuted
from Covington everyday to gut our home . We also paid $2000.00 to have
gutting done that we could not do ourselves.

Now we are surrounded by mole laden debris piles that stinks so bad, I can't
open windows in my Fema trailer. Many of my neighbors relocated and just
left their property and waited for free gutting. Their lawns are being taken
over by wild grass that will attract rats and snakes. If you run a bush hog
through the yards next month debris will be flying everywhere. 

Like over 12,000 other returned residents my wife and I love St. Bernard and
are here to rebuild a community. If you are not moving back, please think of
your neighbors that are.

I don't know what our parish council is doing about this problem, but I am
confident they are working on it.
